Relentless Change Project

Relentless Change Project

Project Description

The Relentless Change Programme (RCP) is a youth work project aimed at young people aged 16-25 who have experienced homelessness, and/or other housing related issues. It is funded by National Lottery Community Fund.

The project is in partnership with a number of organisations including University Ulster and Housing Executive.

Throughout the project RCP members meet and took part in an enjoyable and sometimes ‘life changing’ programme based on their needs. The project is structured around the following 5 pillars:

  • Personal and Social Development
  • Experiential Learning
  • One to One Support
  • Campaigning and Advocacy
  • University/Work Based Placements

Some of this work involves health and well-being programmes, group work and experiential learning opportunities. Also included in RCP is the CPD course (University Ulster experience) and work based placements.

We are delighted to share with you, our brand new RCP&Me booklet. Please find link to PDF below:

RCP&Me was designed in partnership with young people, and incorporates the stories of RCP participants, staff members, and a representative of the RCP expert steering group. The booklet highlights the experiences of RCP participants on the programme, and aims to give other young people and professionals a glimpse into the lives of young people who become homeless in our society.
