Relentless Leadership Programme

Relentless Leadership Programme

Project Description

Watch this video to get an insight into the journey of our RLP participants as they come together for our ‘University Experience’ in Partnership with Ulster University and funded by National Lottery Community Fund

The Relentless Leadership Project is a three-year program funded via the National Lottery Community Fund. RLP is a youth work project which adopts a relentless approach that engages, supports and works alongside young people who have experienced homelessness. We use a 5 pillared tried and tested model which incorporates:

  • Personal and social development
  • Advocacy and support
  • Capacity building including an accredited Civic Empowerment course at the University of Ulster
  • Social justice including campaigning and awareness raising
  • Homeless prevention

We pride ourselves on meeting young people where they are and walking alongside them in their journey in a holistic way. An integral element of this is employing 2 young people with lived experience of homelessness in an apprentice role.  The apprentices work with young people to promote housing options, independent living skills, and healthy life choices and consider training & employability options.
