TEO Good Relations Programme

The Executive Office has supported the NIYF to deliver a high-impact good relations project whereby young people have worked together to effect change based on the publication of the Youth Manifesto for Change.

This program has enabled NIYF to reach young people from across NI and develop capacity within and across communities. It has focused on societal issues that unite us and young people have worked hard to effect positive change.

Young people have run a number of Youth Led Conferences through this funding including a series of Events that Marked the 25th Anniversary of the Good Friday Agreement. These events were a huge success and were hosted at the University of Ulster, Stormont, and at NIYF. Representatives of NIYF attended a major event in Hillsborough Castle and the visit to the University of Ulster by US President Joe Biden as part of this work.  Over 200 young people attended these events.
