NI Youth Forum Seeks Nominations for its new Executive Committee

The Northern Ireland Youth Forum is Youth led. This means that our committee is made up of young people who are elected every two years to manage the organisation. We are inviting young people to put themselves forward for election to the committee.

Open to young people aged 11-25 from across N. Ireland, this exciting opportunity is your chance to help shape the work of NI Youth Forum over a 2-year period.

NI Youth Forum strives to provide an active, exciting and meaningful voice for young people across the region. If elected you will work with your peers to help lead the organisation, provide direction and support the staff team in improving the lives of young people, through campaigning, lobbying and developmental work.

Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Election

The elections for the Executive Committee Trustees will be held at our AGM on the 20th September 2014 at Garron Tower, Carnlough. Our staff team will provide all travel and logistical arrangements.

If you are successful in your application to become a trustee and are present at the AGM, you will be able to stand for the positions of Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson, Treasurer and Honorary Secretary, role descriptions and essential can be found in your role descriptions document.    

As an NI Youth Forum Executive Committee member you will gain a huge amount of opportunities, meet new friends, develop skills in leadership, teamwork, negotiation and communication and be part of an energetic team.
