Today marks 25 years since the signing of the Belfast / Good Friday Agreement – this brought changes to Northern Ireland
NIYF Executive Committee planned a series of events so that young peoples voice could be heard, viewed & acted upon
On March 30th in partnership with Ulster University we hosted over 100 young people in the new Belfast campus. Young people marked this significant moment in Northern Ireland history.
Young people engaged in workshops, spoke directly to decision makers & adults in power and had a lot to say on…
housing & homelessness
inclusion & diversity
And how the Belfast / Good Friday agreement has impacted these.
Young people had key asks for decision makers but their ultimate ask is that there is time and space for decision makers to hear what they’ve to say and for them to act on it.
Comment below your hopes for the next 25 years…
