RLP Uni Experience Course
RLP Uni Experience Course Today the RLP Uni Experience young people started their Level 4 in Civic Empowerment at Ulster University.
Today’s subject, chosen by the young people was Politics and we were joined by Cllr Conor Maskey, Belfast City Council, on the importance of voting and being active members of our communities.
The young people then lead a brilliant discussion on politics in NI and asked some great and challenging questions.
The course lecturers also created space for learning around our historical political context, the landscape now and how the voting system works.
One week down, three to go and the young people have told us that today was amazing and they look forward to experiencing more of what UU has to offer.
