Dear NI Youth Forum member,
The Executive Committee of the NI Youth Forum is delighted to announce that we are now recruiting for a new member to join the Executive Committee, to be co-opted in the New Year.
The role of an Executive Committee member is to work as part of a team of 17 young people in managing and running the organisation, covering everything from strategic direction to finance to staffing. It must be stressed that this is not a representative role, but rather a management role. This is your chance to have a real say in the overall direction of the NI Youth Forum, and be part of its continued success.
It is expected that you will be able to commit to attending 70% of all monthly meetings, that you will uphold the values of the NI Youth Forum at all times, and that you will work constructively with the rest of Executive Committee and staff team. However, please do not worry if you have never done anything like this before – training will be provided and everything will be explained to you as necessary.
This position is open to all members of the NI Youth Forum, and we are seeking as broad a range of applications as possible. Your application will be considered by a sub committee of the Executive, and you will be notified in January if you have been successful.
